So I went to see Disney's Frozen this past Saturday and oh. my. gosh. It was breathtaking! I have been stalking this movie since I first saw the preview with Olaf (the snowman) and Sven (the reindeer) back in July or August. The Snow Queen is a tale by Hans Christian Anderson, and is one of my favorite fairytales ever. The character Elsa is loosely based on the Snow Queen, so I knew I HAD to see this movie. Now Frozen does not actually follow the storyline of Anderson's original story at all (Kai and Gerda aren't even characters inF rozen), but it doesn't matter one bit.
The movie was INCREDIBLE! Anything, and I mean anything, that has to do with snow and/or ice magic makes me swoon a little inside. Ice magic is my ideal power in a fantasy realm.
My favorite Disney princess has been Pocahontas for as long as I can remember (with Ariel and Belle tied as close seconds), but after all these years, I officially have a new favorite princess. Or should I say queen? The beautiful Elsa completely captivated my heart, and has stolen the spot for my #1 favorite Disney character. And that is no easy feat, believe me.
I don't want to spoil anything for anyone who hasn't seen the movie yet, but if you haven't seen it, I HIGHLY recommend it! It is one of the best movies I have personally seen in a long time. I love how Disney continually brings out the child in me. <3 (As if I don't like countless childish things. lol) But Disney seems to do it for everyone. Almost everyone can embrace the magic of Disney and say hello to their inner child. Don't you think so?

Pokemon X/Y

Yep, I'm jumping on the bandwagon and making a journal about it.
Pokemon X/Y and general Pokemon stuff.
So the new mega-evolutions confuse me. I'm not sure what the point is. But then again, Gamefreak hasn't fully revealed everything yet.
However, I love the designs. MegaAbsol looks like a dark, fallen angel, which I love. (I don't know why so many other people think it looks like it came from My Little Pony. I see a little Alicorn parallel there, but still.)
Though part of me is bugged that they messed with my baby at all. (Absol is my favorite Pokemon.)
But still, I love the design. It's pretty.
I love Dedenne. <3 It looks like a baby Raichu in a way.
However Horubii (the rabbit) I really dislike. For one, we already had Buneary, and secondly, it looks more like a Disney rabbit to me than a Pokemon.
I'm neutral to Meekuru. I think Gogoat should have been a stand-alone Pokemon with no evolutions.
And on a side note, I don't understand when people rant/bitch about how Pikachu is "overglorified". Well, DUH!! Of course he is. He's the mascot! The mascot of anything is bound to be overglorified.
Does that mean Raichu gets very little spotlight? Yes, it does. And that makes me sad. But at least Raichu still has a pretty large fanbase.
I just don't understand why people get themselves so worked up over Pikachu. xD
No amount of hate is going to demote him as the Pokemon mascot, so people need to save their energy, and not make themselves so angry.
Anyway, does anybody else have any thoughts on X/Y?? If anyone reads this of course. haha

So the Nyx Face Awards is an incredible make-up competition, and you enter by submitting a video tutorial. I watched last year's tournament as people were narrowed down from the top 30 to the top 6 as the rounds went on. I knew I wanted to enter this year.
I need to make it to the top 30 to be included in the competition. This contest could be a HUGE step towards my dream in the beauty and fashion world. So if any of you could take a minute and go "like"/"thumbs up" my tutorial, and give me a shot to be in the competition, I would be so incredibly grateful<3 Please help me do this, guys!!

Senior Prom

BEST NIGHT EVER!! It was the magical night that I had always dreamed it would be. <3
Best story of the night though:
So during the song "I Won't Give Up", by Jason Mraz, Joshua decides to be cute, and gets down on his knees to serenade me. Awwwww. lol Even though I could barely hear him because we were near-ish the speakers. And of course this means no one else can hear him either.
Well then he says "I love you", and gets up and kisses me and everyone around starts cheering and clapping. Then he kisses me again and they go even more crazy. I'm really confused until someone says, "Congratulations!"
Then it dawns on me. Omigosh, they all think he proposed. xD
So today at school people kept asking me if I was engaged. lol
